Creative Producer for Theatre and Touring Productions
Hi, I am Gaurav Singh Nijjer. I'm a creative professional based in New Delhi, India.
I produce theatre and tours, holding the creative and practical sides of a show together.
I produce theatre with one eye on the art and one on the logistics. As a creative producer I have looked after shows including The Pillowman, Un Hombre Muerto a Puntapies and Unravel, and I produced the India tour of the UK comedy company the Make 'Em Ups. The role covers casting and contracts, budgets, scheduling, travel, venues and the daily problem-solving that keeps a production moving. I see my job as protecting the creative vision while making the practical reality work around it. I am calm with deadlines and careful with money, so artists can trust the ground they are standing on.

Gaurav Singh Nijjer is a theatre-maker, multidisciplinary designer, creative technologist and researcher from New Delhi, India.
As an artist Gaurav creates theatre, new media and interdisciplinary performances that integrate technology and storytelling, both as an individual artist and under his theatre company Kaivalya Plays. He is a researcher and educator, focusing on new technologies in storytelling. He also works as a creative strategist for brands and organizations, especially in the technology and arts sector, focusing on digital creative projects, marketing and growth.
