Here are some photos and videos from different projects I've worked on, arranged in different configurations of the role of multimedia, video and projections in the live performance.

Darkside by Tom Stoppard, directed by Atul Kumar

The video played a dual role - as a storyteller and as energy. Complementing the on-stage action and movement (choreographed by Aseng Borang), we used publicly available footage, AI-generated video, two existing artist films and shot specific sequences with actors in Mumbai.

It is what it is by Akshay Gandhi

The multimedia design for this solo theatre performance demonstrates how video is interacting with the body, how video can be used as light source and how much of a mood / scene shift can video drive as a scenic element.

The Shunya Theory by Himaniie Panth

The multimedia design for this ensemble performance demonstrates how video and projections can tell you things beyond the script, transform the stage for different characters and break a 'realistic' scenic design.

What Would You Ask Yourself? by Gaurav Singh Nijjer

Herein video acts as a memory machine, capturing and reimagining audience interactions in real time. Using live camera feeds, typing, and projection mapping, participants’ thoughts became preserved ‘memories,’ forming a collaborative archive of fleeting moments.

Video as Storyteller Workshop

In this workshop we explore the role and potential of video as a storyteller, looking at still images, pre-recorded materials, live cameras, screen recordings and other visual elements coming together with bodies in the space. We also look at mapping software like OBS and Isadora, amongst other, as well websites and resources for conceptualizing, generating and executing video design for theatre, dance, music and other live performances.

La Danse D'Amazon by Daniel Wetzel Rimini Protokoll

For this project I created a generative video model that utilizes APIs for voice cloning (ie voiceovers created using custom text) and lipsynch videos (on the generated voiceover) to create a deepfake / lookalike video of a certain character or personality.
