I try to write reviews that are fair to the artists and useful to readers, describing what a show is reaching for and how close it comes. My own life as a maker and performer shapes how I watch, since I know how much work sits behind every choice on stage. I write clearly and quickly, and I take the responsibility of a public opinion seriously.

Gaurav Singh Nijjer is a theatre-maker, multidisciplinary designer, creative technologist and researcher from New Delhi, India.
As an artist Gaurav creates theatre, new media and interdisciplinary performances that integrate technology and storytelling, both as an individual artist and under his theatre company Kaivalya Plays. He is a researcher and educator, focusing on new technologies in storytelling. He also works as a creative strategist for brands and organizations, especially in the technology and arts sector, focusing on digital creative projects, marketing and growth.
