Hi, I am Gaurav Singh Nijjer. I tell stories through live performances, creative technology and multimedia.
I design projection and video environments for theatre productions in Delhi.
I use projection mapping as part of theatrical scenography, allowing images to interact with performers, scenery and live action. My work can involve mapped scenery, live cameras, animated environments, generative visuals or projections onto unconventional surfaces. I approach video as a live stage element that needs to work dramaturgically as well as technically.

Gaurav Singh Nijjer is a theatre-maker, multidisciplinary designer, creative technologist and researcher from New Delhi, India.
As an artist Gaurav creates theatre, new media and interdisciplinary performances that integrate technology and storytelling, both as an individual artist and under his theatre company Kaivalya Plays. He is a researcher and educator, focusing on new technologies in storytelling. He also works as a creative strategist for brands and organizations, especially in the technology and arts sector, focusing on digital creative projects, marketing and growth.
