Projection Mapping for Performing Arts in Chennai
Hi, I am Gaurav Singh Nijjer. I tell stories through live performances, creative technology and multimedia.
I design projection and video environments for theatre, dance and live performance in Chennai.
I create projection systems for performing arts where video becomes part of the scenography rather than functioning as a backdrop. Images can respond to performers, transform a set or create locations that would be difficult to build physically. I work closely with directors, designers and technical teams so projection remains synchronised with the live performance.

Gaurav Singh Nijjer is a theatre-maker, multidisciplinary designer, creative technologist and researcher from New Delhi, India.
As an artist Gaurav creates theatre, new media and interdisciplinary performances that integrate technology and storytelling, both as an individual artist and under his theatre company Kaivalya Plays. He is a researcher and educator, focusing on new technologies in storytelling. He also works as a creative strategist for brands and organizations, especially in the technology and arts sector, focusing on digital creative projects, marketing and growth.
