Multimedia Designer for Performance and Cultural Events
Hi, I am Gaurav Singh Nijjer. I'm a creative professional based in New Delhi, India.
I combine sound, video, light and code into one experience for stages and events.
I design multimedia for performances, installations, online experiences and cultural events. My work brings together video, sound, light, interactive elements and code so they feel like one coherent experience. I have built pieces that use binaural audio for headphone theatre, generative AI for live visuals and game-like interaction for online audiences. A multimedia design lives or dies on how the parts talk to each other, so I spend a lot of time on the joins and the handovers between one medium and the next. I like work that is ambitious in feeling and honest about what the space and budget can hold.
Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop), QLab, Ableton Live or Reaper, projection mapping tools, binaural and 3D audio, basic coding.

Gaurav Singh Nijjer is a theatre-maker, multidisciplinary designer, creative technologist and researcher from New Delhi, India.
As an artist Gaurav creates theatre, new media and interdisciplinary performances that integrate technology and storytelling, both as an individual artist and under his theatre company Kaivalya Plays. He is a researcher and educator, focusing on new technologies in storytelling. He also works as a creative strategist for brands and organizations, especially in the technology and arts sector, focusing on digital creative projects, marketing and growth.
