Hi, I am Gaurav Singh Nijjer. I tell stories through live performances, creative technology and multimedia.
I create interactive installations that respond to audiences, movement and environmental input in Kolkata.
I design artworks where interaction is fundamental to the experience. Cameras, microphones, sensors and software can translate audience behaviour into changing images, sounds or generative systems, creating an artwork that develops through participation.

Gaurav Singh Nijjer is a theatre-maker, multidisciplinary designer, creative technologist and researcher from New Delhi, India.
As an artist Gaurav creates theatre, new media and interdisciplinary performances that integrate technology and storytelling, both as an individual artist and under his theatre company Kaivalya Plays. He is a researcher and educator, focusing on new technologies in storytelling. He also works as a creative strategist for brands and organizations, especially in the technology and arts sector, focusing on digital creative projects, marketing and growth.
