Hi, I am Gaurav Singh Nijjer. I tell stories through live performances, creative technology and multimedia.
I create digital scenography using projection, video, interactive technology and real-time visuals.
Digital scenography allows a stage or performance space to become a changing visual environment. I combine theatrical scenographic thinking with projection, live video, generative imagery and interactive systems. The design considers the relationship between performer, image, architecture, sound and audience rather than treating digital content as a separate layer.

Gaurav Singh Nijjer is a theatre-maker, multidisciplinary designer, creative technologist and researcher from New Delhi, India.
As an artist Gaurav creates theatre, new media and interdisciplinary performances that integrate technology and storytelling, both as an individual artist and under his theatre company Kaivalya Plays. He is a researcher and educator, focusing on new technologies in storytelling. He also works as a creative strategist for brands and organizations, especially in the technology and arts sector, focusing on digital creative projects, marketing and growth.
