Creative Director for Theatre, Performance and Cultural Projects
Hi, I am Gaurav Singh Nijjer. I'm a creative professional based in New Delhi, India.
I lead the creative vision for live shows and cultural projects, from idea to stage.
I work as a creative director on theatre productions, immersive performances and cross-cultural projects. My job is to hold the through-line of an idea, from the first concept conversation to opening night. I have directed and designed shows with Kaivalya Plays and partner companies, often working with text in many languages and with collaborators across India, the UK, the US and Europe. I care about how an audience feels in the room and how technology can serve a story without taking it over. I bring a producer's eye for budgets and the practical questions that decide whether a vision actually reaches people.

Gaurav Singh Nijjer is a theatre-maker, multidisciplinary designer, creative technologist and researcher from New Delhi, India.
As an artist Gaurav creates theatre, new media and interdisciplinary performances that integrate technology and storytelling, both as an individual artist and under his theatre company Kaivalya Plays. He is a researcher and educator, focusing on new technologies in storytelling. He also works as a creative strategist for brands and organizations, especially in the technology and arts sector, focusing on digital creative projects, marketing and growth.
