Arts Programmer and Curator for Venues and Festivals
Hi, I am Gaurav Singh Nijjer. I'm a creative professional based in New Delhi, India.
I plan and curate programmes for theatres, festivals and cultural spaces that bring people in.
I plan and curate cultural programmes that give audiences a reason to show up. I have programmed for venues and organisations including the Black Box Theatre at the Little Theatre Group in Delhi, and I shape the programming, partnerships, outreach and fundraising at Kaivalya Plays. I have built educational programmes such as the Theatre Management Fellowship and the India Arts Funding and Arts Education forums. Good programming balances bold artistic choices with what an audience and a budget can hold. I think about the whole season as a story, where each event speaks to the others and builds something larger over time.

Gaurav Singh Nijjer is a theatre-maker, multidisciplinary designer, creative technologist and researcher from New Delhi, India.
As an artist Gaurav creates theatre, new media and interdisciplinary performances that integrate technology and storytelling, both as an individual artist and under his theatre company Kaivalya Plays. He is a researcher and educator, focusing on new technologies in storytelling. He also works as a creative strategist for brands and organizations, especially in the technology and arts sector, focusing on digital creative projects, marketing and growth.
