Hi, I am Gaurav Singh Nijjer. I'm a creative professional based in New Delhi, India.
I build and care for artist and audience communities, online and across borders.
I build communities around artists and organisations and keep them warm over time. I led outreach and engagement for the Nursery Theatre in London, looking after an international community of over 2,000 artists, and I have managed outreach and programming for the Little Theatre Group in Delhi. My work covers welcoming new members, running events, keeping in regular contact and creating spaces where people feel they belong. I pay attention to the quiet members as much as the loud ones. Strong community work is slow and steady, built on many small acts of care, repeated over time.

Gaurav Singh Nijjer is a theatre-maker, multidisciplinary designer, creative technologist and researcher from New Delhi, India.
As an artist Gaurav creates theatre, new media and interdisciplinary performances that integrate technology and storytelling, both as an individual artist and under his theatre company Kaivalya Plays. He is a researcher and educator, focusing on new technologies in storytelling. He also works as a creative strategist for brands and organizations, especially in the technology and arts sector, focusing on digital creative projects, marketing and growth.
