Hi, I am Gaurav Singh Nijjer. I'm a creative professional based in New Delhi, India.
I use improvisation to help teams and artists think faster, listen better and work together.
I bring the skills of improvisation into rooms beyond the stage. Applied improvisation helps people listen closely, say yes to each other's ideas and stay comfortable when the next moment is a surprise. I have trained and performed with the Nursery Theatre, a UK improvisation company, and applied improv is at the core of Kaivalya Plays. I run sessions for artists, students, teams and community groups who want to build trust, spark creativity, listen well and become more present with one another. My sessions are warm and structured, full of play on the surface and doing real work underneath.

Gaurav Singh Nijjer is a theatre-maker, multidisciplinary designer, creative technologist and researcher from New Delhi, India.
As an artist Gaurav creates theatre, new media and interdisciplinary performances that integrate technology and storytelling, both as an individual artist and under his theatre company Kaivalya Plays. He is a researcher and educator, focusing on new technologies in storytelling. He also works as a creative strategist for brands and organizations, especially in the technology and arts sector, focusing on digital creative projects, marketing and growth.
